Ramat · Catalan for “herd”
You are the shepherd. Claude Code is your herd.
Every Claude Code session, on every machine, live in one place: who is working, who is waiting for you, who fell asleep.

Farms, herd
and shepherds.
Three words, and you know how Ramat works.
- laptop3 sheep
- build-server2 sheep
- office-mac4 sheep
- Farms
- Each machine where Claude Code runs is a farm. The Ramat agent lives there like a sheepdog: it watches every session and reports back. macOS and Linux.
- The herd
- Each Claude Code session is a sheep, with its subagents, tokens and transcript. It grazes in a field of its farm: personal, work, a client.
- Shepherds
- The Ramat app on your Mac is a shepherd. It sees the whole herd, from every farm, the moment something changes, and it can bring a sheep home: close a session from there.
02
Every sheep,
at a glance.
No more jumping between terminals to find the one that waits for you.
Working
Busy with your prompt. You see the tool it uses right now.
Waiting for you
Its turn is done, or it needs a permission or an answer.
Asleep
Nothing to do for a while. It waits until you come back.
Never lost
A session without the plugin still shows up, marked as untracked.
03
Your fields,
your rules.
Each farm decides what leaves it, field by field. The server cannot change that.
- Mark your sheep. A folder rule puts each session in a field: personal, work, a client. One farm can keep several fields.
- Choose what leaves. Per field: everything, titles, metadata only, or nothing. Environment variables never leave the farm.
- Lock it with your key. Turn on end-to-end encryption for a field. Only your shepherds can open it. Not even the server can read it.
